The Legal Divison

The Legal Department is a small dedicated team made up of eight professional individuals, six of which are qualified solicitors and there are two Legal Clerks.

The Legal Department is located in Ty Keir Hardie, the main functions of the Legal Department is to provide a quality, effective and efficient in-house legal service

The Legal Department prides itself on giving friendly, responsive and professional advice to Councillors and Directorates within the Council.

We will help the public in any way we can, but please remember the Legal Department does not provide any public services. If you require any legal advice you must consult your own solicitor.
