BURIALS 

There are numerous cemeteries throughout the Merthyr Tydfil County Borough which can accommodate the burial of coffins and interment of cremated remains. 

Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council Cemeteries are Pant, Cefn, Ffrwd, Pontycapel, Capel Fach, Aberfan, Bryntaf, Beechgrove and Graigfargoed.  There are other private cemeteries throughout the County Borough which are generally church or chapel owned over which the Council have no authority.

There is no crematorium in the Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, the nearest Crematoriums are:
