Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council has now agreed its Corporate Plan 2012/13. This document sets out the Council’s ambition for Merthyr Tydfil, its aims for the next 12 months and demonstrates in a time of increasing financial pressures, how, along with its partners, it will continue to support the development of Merthyr Tydfil as a community where people are proud to live and visit.
In order to identify the Council’s priorities (priority outcomes) a review of the Council’s previous Corporate Plan, last year’s eight priorities and an analysis of the budget and council priorities consultation exercise was conducted by Senior Managers and Elected Members.
