Free Transport from Home to College

All students aged 16 years, 17 years or 18 years on September 1st, who are attending a first course of full time study at a college may be entitled to free transport if they are required to travel at least two miles in each direction (home to college and return) providing the student is attending the nearest appropriate college.
In the case of a student attending one of the following colleges:

• Merthyr Tydfil College;
• Coleg Morgannwg (Aberdare);
• Coleg Morgannwg (Rhondda);
• Coleg Morgannwg (Nantgarw);
• Coleg Morgannwg (Pontypridd);
• Ystrad Mynach College
• Bridgend College of Further and Higher Education;
• Pencoed College;

(It should be noted that the list of eligible colleges is under review and may be changed).

The student should contact the general office at the college.
