Regeneration in Merthyr Tydfil covers a range of function including Physical Regeneration. Regenerating communities is a key part of the Council's plans to make Merthyr Tydfil a more attractive place to live, visit and do business. 

The Physical Regeneration Team is responsible for the development and implementation of a range of physical/urban regeneration projects throughout the County Borough, with specific responsibility for project development within Merthyr Tydfil.
