Art & Craft Courses 

Art (view timetable)

Students will have the opportunity to develop skills and techniques in both drawing and painting through a variety of mediums. Students of all levels are welcome.   A portfolio of work will be produced. OCN accredited

Watercolours (view timetable)

Beginners will be able to produce a watercolour painting from step by step tuition.  Whilst more advanced students will be able to develop the skills and techniques of water colour painting with the tuition of a qualified tutor.  A portfolio of work will be produced.  OCN accredited

Flower Arranging (view timetable)

This course will provide the necessary skills to produce floral designs in a wide variety of styles for home and special occasions using fresh, dried and silk plant materials.  OCN accredited.

Sewing /Soft Furnishings (View timetable)

Furnishes the student with the necessary skills to construct a variety of soft furnishings e.g cushion covers, blinds and /or to construct garments.  Mainly project based.

Wood craft (timetable to be arrange) 

Basic to level 3 courses.  Designed for the complete beginner or the more advanced.  Mainly Project based

Ceramics (timetable to be arrange) 

From basic to more advanced level courses.  Students will learn the basic techniques of working with clay and other mediums to produce ceramic items.   Purpose built workshop that enables students to gain skills in a number of techniques, project based.

Creative Arts/Crafts (timetable to be arrange) 

Provides students with a range of taster sessions in a variety of arts and crafts e.g  glass painting, papier mache, stencilling, encaustic art.  OCN accredited.

Motor Maintenance (timetable to be arrange)

A basic maintenance course for those wanting to learn basic routine maintenance on cars.  Course covers checking and changing oil, bulbs and filters as well as other routine tasks.  Alongside this is a Health and Safety in a Motor Vehicle Workshop which gives a brief introduction to the safe working practices that need to be followed when working in this type of environment.
