Duke of Edinburgh's Award

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a voluntary, non-competitive programme of practical, cultural and adventurous activities, designed to support the personal and social development of young people aged 14 - 25, regardless of gender, background or ability.

The Award seeks to challenge young people to try new activities and integrate with their local communities.  Its programme of activities provides a structured pattern for personal and social development.

The Award is divided up into 3 levels dependent upon your age and is available to young people aged 14 and over.

There is no real time limit when it comes to completing a Duke of Edinburgh Award programme.  As long as participants are under 25 years old when they complete all their activities in their programme, they are free to work at a pae that they are comfortable with to achieve their Award.
