Description:
Assist in the marketing of the Museum in the sale of museum souvenirs and associated merchandise at the Museum Shop.
Ensure Shop is appropriately stocked and help with Stock Taking
Answer queries or requests for information, from the general public, adopting a polite and courteous approach, whether in person or by other media, in accordance with the Service’s Customer Care
Charter.
Deal promptly with bookings, completing the relevant forms and following the museums systems and guidelines. Researching and providing written responses to enquiries regarding the collections, or history of the town, with assistance from senior staff.
Salary - Manual Grade 3
FIXED HOURS Hours worked 16.50. Hours paid 25.13
PART TIME Hours worked on Average 16.50 hours per week. Hours paid 25.13 hours per week on average.
These posts are to cover weekend cover and there are regular opportunities for additional evening work. Must be available to cover staff shifts if needed and work Bank Holidays and weekends.
