World Book Day 
Cwm Golau Integrated Children's Centre invited parents, childminders and pre-schools to celebrate World Book Day on March 2nd 2006. Adults and children all joined in the fun and dressed up as their favourite book characters. A number activities were held throughout the day including arts and crafts, cookery and story telling.
Cookery Demonstration

Gaynor Weavers of "Taste Buddies" treated the little people to a cookery demonstration. Fun was had by all as they 'mucked' in and made a variety of food including, sausage rolls, pizza and cakes.

Arts and Crafts
The little people got messy in the Arts and Crafts room by making aniamal masks. Both adults and children all joined in with glitter, glue and paper plates all adding to the days fun and the childrens imagination!

Story Telling
Little Red Riding Hood treated everyone to a story, rhymes and games in the Toy Library. The children sat and listened contently as the Hungry Caterpillar story was read. The children then rounded off the day playing fun games in their costumes. |
