Pre-School Playgroups and Cylchoedd Meithrin
Pre-schools playgroups and Cylchoedd Meithirns offer a safe and stimulating environment in which children can play and learn with other children from their local community. Both groups are for children to learn and play with other children, the only difference is that one is delivered in the welsh language.
Most groups open for sessions of around 2 hours. Trained, experienced staff work with the children. Volunteers and parents often help out. They offer a range of activities for children providing play and learning opportunities.

What age range are the children?
Children in pre-school playgroups are usually aged between 2½ and 4, but there may be places for two year olds.
Most pre-school playgroups provide places for between 10 to 24 children.
