Elite Athlete Scheme  The Elite Athletes and Performers Scheme is for applicants who are able to demonstrate that they are elite athletes. The Scheme runs for one year only and available to the residents of Merthyr Tydfil.
The Scheme covers both juniors and seniors at full international representative level with the recognised sporting governing body. It does not apply to an individual who has been selected for national training or development squads.
