The Aberfan and Merthyr Vale Community Centre was officially opened in 1973 and has a long history of providing excellent sports and social facilities to all.
The Centre boasts an extremely well equipped and air conditioned Fitness Suite (Fit4All), new changing rooms, 25 metre swimming pool and a large Main Hall.
So whether you want an energetic workout in one of our 2 fitness suites, a leisurely dip in the pool or to just enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee in our Cafe Bar, there is something for everyone.
Location/Access:
Ideally located in the centre of the village, the Aberfan & Merthyr Vale Community Centre is the big yellow building just off the Aberfan Road opposite the Mackintosh public house.
By car - there is a large free car park to the rear of the building By Bus - bus routes 78 & 81By foot/bike* - just off the Taff Trail linking Brecon with Cardiff.*there is a bike rack located at the front of the centre
