The Aberfan and Merthyr Vale Community Centre was officially opened in 1973 and has a long history of providing excellent sports and social facilities to all.
Ideally located in the centre of the village, Aberfan & Merthyr Vale community centre the centre offers a wide range of facilities and activities for all abilities. So whether you want an energetic workout in one of our 2 fitness suites, a leisurely dip in the pool or to just enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee in our Cafe Bar, there is something for everyone.

By car - there is a large free car park to the rear of the building
By Bus - bus routes 78 & 81
By foot/bike* - just off the Taff Trail linking Brecon with Cardiff.*there is a bike rack located at the front of the centre
