Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Centre boasts 3 superb Swimming Pools for Fun and Fitness :
- 25mx13m competition size deck level pool
- 13mx9m deck level Learner Pool
- Free form deck level Leisure Pool with flume , spa bath, & water features
The pool area has an electronic scoreboard for competitions and a spectators gallery.

Children’s Lessons
Children's lessons run 7 days a week and will be based on the National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS). This is a national syllabus for delivering aquatics and provides stages for pupils to progress and become competent, confident and safe in the water. Cost for 10 week course £27.50
Adult Lessons
Early morning and evening classes are available and are suitable for beginners or those who wish brush up on their skills or improve their technique. Cost per lesson £3.00
Pool Parties
Celebrate a birthday at Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Centre with a Pool Party. Pool Parties are available on Saturdays & Sundays. We offer Flume Parties, which gives you exclusive use of the designated learner and leisure Swimming pools and our Aqua slide Flume (maximum 50 children). Catering can also be provided at a small extra charge per child.
Flume Party: £80
A deposit of £20 is required to secure the selected date prior to the party.
