Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Project

The £25m leisure and commercial development which began its construction in January 2007 has made good progress since its inception in 2005. It has taken major steps forward by signing four high profile brands.  Features of the leisure park include:

• Vue multiplex 8 screen cinema Now Open
• Travelodge 60 bed hotel - Now Open
• Nando’s Chicken Restaurant - Now open
• Frankie & Benny’s Italian American Restaurant - Now Open
• 10 pin bowling alley (Operator TBA)
• Family pub (Operator TBA)
• Skateboard park
• Children’s play area and family picnic area
• Car Parking for around 750 cars together with new links to public   transport
• And centrepiece of the development is one of the UK’s most well equipped leisure centres - the Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Centre.

Landscaping plans are also in place to incorporate links with the Taff Trail route from the complex and the town centre.
