Library Links We are developing new relationships with a number of places in communities where we do not have a library building.
Our aim is to provide local people, especially those who do not have a personal computer, with better access to library services.
Links will include:
1. Free use of a computer to search our library catalogue, renew and reserve stock.
2. Details of mobile library visits in the area and other services provided and promotional activities.
3. Opportunities to see "Community displays" organised by the library
Some sites will operate a facility that allows items in stock from them (at a small charge)
We will also lend sets of books that link with community learning opportunities and to show some of the range of title and subjects available from the library van and buildings. Sets of suitable books will be made available to playgroups.
