Most reading group members enjoy talking about the titles and the topics raised. Lively discussions and range of views about some of the titles are reflected in the following extracts from recent reviews...
The Sun book of short stories
"I enjoyed "A Living" because it made me think of when I was a teenager. I could relate to the story - but I didn't like the end" By Gavin

"I thought some of the stories were good...Ball games " was sad at the end" By Jane
"Murder in Catcher's Wood has a really good twist" By Sam

Naturally enough not every reader agreed with the last reviewer and some just didn't like the book at all:

A librarian's view of the different reactions? We are all different so it is quite OK to disagree about almost any book!
Survive the worst and aim for the best by Kerry Katona
"I enjoyed reading her book. I tells you about her life and that there is always someone worse of than you! By Sharlene
"No matter what life brings try, if you can, to face it head on. No matter what sex, race, religion or where you're from, everyone gets their problems, but aim for the best. As they say, "Yesterday is history"" By an anonymous reviewer
"It also showed me that only you can help yourself, no one else and that you need to be proud of who you are despite what everyone else may say. This book showed me that things look different tomorrow and never to judge others without knowing the full story first" By Nicola
One anonymous reviewer was prophetic:
"Kerry has achieved so much, but I think she has a long way to go"
