BBC RAW Campaign The BBC has launched the RaW Campaign
With outreach activity throughout the UK and broadcast content across every platform.
RaW will not only be the biggest adult literacy campaign the BBC has ever undertaken, it will be the first to have entertainment at its core.
For example, from July to September BBC Radio 5 Live will be running RaW Football Stories, inviting the audience to send in their football stories with a chance to be published in a 5 Live publication. This will be a regular feature in their 606 programme. Libraries running RaW Football Stories will also be able to feed into this through the website which will be live nearer the time.
TV, radio and online commitment is growing day by day, with links into the UK's favourite drama and entertainment programming to support and complement the campaign.

Welsh libraries, including ours, are working with the BBC and Reading Agency on this campaign.
