Who did write this?
Libraries are reservoirs of strength, grace and wit, reminders of order, calm and continuity, lakes of mental energy, neither warm nor cold, light nor dark. The pleasure they give is steady, unorgastic, reliable, deep and long-lasting. In any library in the world, I am at home, unselfconscious, still and absorbed.

Alun Pugh AM, the former Minister for Culture, Welsh Language and Sport said:
“This website is a mine of information and an excellent free resource for everyone. From children looking for help with homework to people looking for jobs, I’d urge everyone in Merthyr Tydfil to make sure they’re registered with their local library so that they can take advantage of this free service.
The Welsh Assembly Government is committed to creating libraries fit for the 21st century and have invested £2 million in Welsh libraries to drive up standards and to develop interesting and innovative projects like this one to make libraries relevant to people today.”
