Our goal is to provide a comprehensive service to all our users. That does not always mean that we can get a particular book, although we will usually try, but it must mean that we will provide a suitable alternative to meet your need.
As a member of the lending library you and your family automatically have free access to many thousands of books and all the information you require to help you to learn and live life to the full from the day you are born!
Please don't think of the Library Service simply in terms of tradition or as an "official" organisation - even as a part of "local government". Think instead of what we can do to help you and the community that you are part of.
