In your opinion?

How do you rate library staff? We regularly consult service users and are pleased that the scores and comments have been continually improving since 1990! However, we know there is always room for improvement in communication and our improvement progress simply isn't finished yet.

We are already working within the service to come up with a description of our ideal member of staff along with practical guidelines to help all of us to improve our interaction with users. That could be in the form of an example of good service - and why you thought it was excellent. We would like you to contribute to that process if you wish to. Simply send your suggestions for further staff (or general service  improvements) to  library.services@merthyr.gov.uk

Some customer viewpoints about online accounts:

"I have been using your service since I heard about it. I have found it a great help and use it a lot.  I have used it for information, to reserve books and to renew my books".

"Its easy to use and find your way around. I use it to renew books and check what’s in stock".

You can easily activate your PIN by asking for it on your next visit or by emailing library.services@merthyr.gov.uk

Please tell us if you have any difficulty with this site or the links to provide to Internet sites. We cannot always control those, but we will act on any reported problems.
