Landlords Forum

The Housing Benefit section has established a Landlords Forum, as a means to improve communication channels between the Authority and its landlords.

The aim of the Forum will be to develop a close working relationship between ourselves and landlords, to improve the service we provide to you and your tenants. Whilst the detail of the discussions will vary between meetings, we will provide regular guidance and advice on the current scheme, and any legislative or regulatory changes, such as Local Housing Allowance, which will be introduced in April 2008. The Forum will also allow Landlords to discuss the way that the scheme is administered locally, so that we as a Local Authority are aware of your views.

Newsletters are currently being sent to all landlords on a half yearly basis, and they will continue to be a regular method of communication in the future.
