Bryntaf Cemetery, Aberfan Bryntaf Cemetery is a section of the Aberfan Cemetery which was opened in 1915. New graves for a maximum of two burials are currently available in Bryntaf. The graves of the majority of the children and adults who were killed in the ‘Aberfan Disaster’ are in the Bryntaf Cemetery.
