Refuse Collection

Refuse vehicle Wheeled bin

Domestic refuse is collected once per week from each household. Under normal circumstances, it's collected from a property on the same day of each week. On the rare occasions when the scheduled collection day is being changed, every property receives prior notification of the change.

Below is a hyperlink to an easy to fill in online form, this form will enable you to request a wheelie bin, for example if your wheelie bin has been stolen, you are a new tenant etc. Filling in the form shall take no longer than a few minutes.

Refuse collection days are displayed in the table below. However, if collections are shown in the table below, to take place on more than one day in your area , please contact us to obtain the correct day for your street:

Bank Holiday Collections

Bank holiday collection dates can be found on the home page under quick links.

Occasionally, as with Bank Holidays, the scheduled weekly collection pattern needs to be varied (see below). Wherever possible, we seek to have returned to the normal collection schedule by the start of the week following the 'unusual' collection pattern.

On the occasions where there is a single day bank holiday, refuse and WOW collections will be one day late for all customers (i.e. the final collection of the week will take place on the Saturday). Where there is a two day bank holiday, collections will be two days late (i.e. the final collection of the week will take place on athe Sunday). Following any Bank Holiday, normal collections should be resumed by the following Monday.
