MTCBC is taking part in an Anti-Fraud Campaign as part of a drive to deter fraudulent personal injury Insurance claims being made against the Council. Members of the public will be encouraged to telephone a new free 24 hour Fraud hotline number 0800 328 9270 in complete confidence if they suspect someone of making a fraudulent claim.
MTCBC will be raising awareness for the campaign by distributing hard hitting posters and leaflets publicising the hotline number. The Council is committed to protecting the tax paying citizens of the community and money saved in this way directly benefits Council services and helps minimise the Council Tax burden.
