What are your responsibilities as my landlord?We are responsible for undertaking the following:
We will maintain the structure and exterior and common parts of the building in a good state of repair, keeping in good repair and working order:-
i) The installations for the supply of water, gas (where there is an existing supply) and electricity (except the renewal of electric fuses) and installations for sanitation
ii) The installations for space heating and water heating, if provided
iii) The lift service and other communal amenities where these are provided within the building
We will effect those repairs which are the landlord’s responsibility within a reasonable period of time.
We will redecorate the exterior woodwork and rendering at least once every six years and clean or redecorate the communal parts of the interior once every three years.
