If you know you are going to be paying late, please contact the Rent Section (01685) 725119 or 725251 and explain the reason why, you need to keep your payments regular. If you fail to pay your rent, the Council will take action through the courts and could recover possession of your home.

Can I Get Any Help With My Rent?

If you are on a low income you can apply for housing benefit [also called rent direct] which can help you with your rent payments. If you find yourself in any financial difficulties please contact the Rent Section (01685) 725119 or 725251 as we can help.

Will My Rent Increase?
