Please remember to report any of the following to the Repairs Contact Centre on [01685] 725493:
- Leaks and bursts where they have come into contact with electrical supplies
- Flickering lights
- Regular power failure; and
- Overheating of electrical appliances
If you experience loss of power to sockets or lights, check the following points before ringing the Repairs Contact Centre:
- Has more than one room been affected?
- Is a particular appliance causing the problem?
- Does the fuse in the plug to the appliance require replacement?
- Has the pre –payment meter credit been utilised?
- Has the power failed in the neighbourhood?
If you need to replace a fuse, always turn the electricity off at the fuse box, and unplug the appliance. If the fuse requires replacement, ensure that you use the correct ampage.
