How can I help? You can get involved in biodiversity conservation. Even if you simply record what birds you see in your garden this summer, or plant an Oak tree, you will be helping to conserve biodiversity. Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council also runs volunteer days where you can get involved in practical conservation such as tree planting or seed gathering, plus we run some day events such as fungus foraging and nature walks – have a look at our events page if you would like to get involved.
