LATEST NEWS – The Council has commenced its consultation exercise in relation to the Additional Work submitted and Proposed Changes to the Plan following the 6 month suspension period.  The 'Post Suspension Proposed Changes Consultation Documents' can be found on the Examination Library website and PS008 (Suspension Changes Notice) details how to make representations and where hard copies of the Post Suspension Changes document can be viewed.

 

The hearing sessions postponed from December 2009 were heard by the Inspector in February 2010 and it is anticipated that additional hearing sessions will be held in October 2010.

PRE-HEARING MEETING

The Inspector held a Pre-Hearing Meeting on Thursday 8th October 2009 at the Orbit Business Centre, at 10.00a.m.  This meeting was open to the public and a Note of the Pre-Hearing Meeting is available to view on this website. HEARINGS IN THE EXAMINATION OF THE LDP
The first three Hearings into the Examination commenced on Tuesday, 24th November 2009 with the remaining Hearings being postponed until February 2010.  Additional Hearings will be scheduled for the week beginning 5 October 2010 after the six month period of suspension.  The Hearings are all to be heard at the Orbit Business Centre, Rhydycar Business Park, Merthyr Tydfil CF48 1DL. As was explained at the Pre-Hearing Meeting, any statements requested by the Inspector will have to be submitted to the Programme Officer at least three weeks prior to the relevant session and these will then be included in the Examination Library List and published on the LDP Examination website.
