Calibration and Testing ServicesMerthyr Tydfil Trading Standards regularly inspects weighing and measuring equipment free of charge as part of its routine inspection function. However any equipment in use for trade which is new or has been repaired will need to be tested by a notified body or a weights and measures inspector and stamped or stickered before it can be used for trade. There is a charge for this service.
Merthyr Tydfil Trading Standards can verify Class III Non Automatic Weighing Instruments and Liquid Fuel Measuring Instuments.
