Licence - Weighbridge OperatorAnyone who carries out public weighings for a charge must hold a certificate from a Chief Inspector of Weights and Measures, showing that they have sufficient knowledge for the proper performance of the duties involved. Applicants for a certificate are tested and are required to demonstrate that they can operate the weighbridge satisfactorily before a certificate is issued.
