Misleading AdvertsThe Trading Standards Service enforces legislation to prevent consumers being misled by adverts when purchasing goods or services. We routinely monitor credit adverts to ensure consumers receive all the necessary information when looking to obtain credit.
If you believe an advert is misleading, offensive or could cause harm the Advertising Standards Authority will take individuals complaints and assess against their codes of practice.
