OFT Approval Scheme
The Office of Fair Trading is launching an approval scheme to assist Consumers in choosing suppliers of goods and services.
The scheme will approve Codes of Practices adopted by industry set up to ensure consumers receive a fair deal.
A webpage has been developed by the Office of Fair Trading explaining the scheme to both consumers and businesses. It also provides details of recognised businesses in their geographical areas.
