It is important to recognise that, as in every year, a large number of our students have achieved at the highest level and this is a result of their determination and hard work and of the dedication and professionalism of their teachers.

I would like to offer my sincere congratulations to all of our students and their teachers who have quite obviously worked very hard once again this year to ensure that these individual students, our sons and daughters, achieve these excellent results. We all share in the happiness and joy this success brings. I wish all of these young people continued success for the future and congratulate them as members of our community here in Merthyr Tydfil.”
