These pages are designed to offer media professionals quick and easy access to Council information and publicity.
Press Releases
The links in the left column direct you to archived press releases, and all news items which have been published on the council website, whilst the press releases listed in the 'More News' section in the right hand column, are the three most recently added press releases.

Media Enquiries
All media enquiries must be channelled through the Corporate Communications Office who will direct your enquiry through to the relevant department and co-ordinate the process, returning responses to you, usually by e-mail.
If you would like to make a media enquiry, please e-mail corporate.communications@merthyr.gov.uk detailing the nature of the enquiry, along with deadline information.
NB: E-mailing through your enquiry will enable the team to co-ordinate the response in a shorter timescale, as it will reduce processing time.
