Town Centre Manager

Merthyr Tydfil Town Centre Partnership (MTTCP) was formed following the publication of a strategy for the Town Centre, ‘The Big Heart of Merthyr Tydfil’ in October 2002, which set out a new vision for Merthyr Tydfil Town Centre.  Arising from the strategy was the appointment of a Town Centre Manager, to act as liaison in promoting and driving forward improvements in the Town Centre.

The Town Centre Manager's role has focused on coordinating the efforts, resources and interests of all stakeholders to enhance the attractiveness of the Town Centre and to promote Merthyr Tydfil as a vibrant and safe place.  The Town Centre Manager also plays a pivotal role in providing support and advice to members of the Merthyr Tydfil Town Centre Partnership. Please visit www.merthyrtydfil.org.uk for more information on the Town Centre Partnership.
