Social Care ServicesThe Authority aims to support individuals within the community to meet their health, social care and well-being needs. This may include: supporting people with specific needs to become more independent at home and / or within the community; care and support for adults; care and support for children and their families; supporting vulnerable groups of people from abuse.
The social care services are delivered via two directorates:

What services are available?
A single point of contact for information, advice and signposting to a range of services available for older people and younger physically, learning or sensory disabled adults and carers is provided by the Adult Intake Team - Duty Service.
