Initial Response ServiceInitial Response Service will support you for up to 6 weeks when you start receiving a personal care service for the first time after being discharged from hospital.
The service will help you with personal care tasks such as washing and dressing, help with managing your medication and moving around your home. Staff will work with you to find a way that will assist you in being as independent as possible.
Is there a charge for this service?
There is no charge for this service for up to 6 weeks, however if you need ongoing service after this period you will be charged in the same way as Continuing Social Care.
