Learning for LivingWhat is City & Guilds Learning for Living?
Learning for Living is an online learning resource for Carers. There are no exams and no tests to take. Learners can take part anywhere where there is access to the internet, for example at home or in a library. It may also be possible to take part in a group at some local Carers Centres.
Learning for Living is designed to:-
- Support Carers' personal development by developing knowledge and skills relevant to their needs.
- Help Carers draw up realistic plans for further education, training, employment and leisure.
Learning for Living consists of 4 modules:
- Moving Forward,
- Taking Care,
- Managing Caring
- Living with Others.
Learners are guided through each module by an internet-based tutor who is available to help and guide learners. Carers who complete the course will get a Certificate.
