Arthritis means inflammation of the joints. Most people with arthritis will experience pain and difficulty moving around. Arthritis is one of the most common chronic health problems and it limits everyday activities such as walking, dressing and bathing. Arthritis affects people in all age groups and is more common in females than males (Arthritis Foundation, 2006).
