Welfare Rights work within the Community Services Directorate aims to maximise incomes of service users, their families and carers.  The Welfare Rights Advisor does not provide a direct service to the public but is responsible for providing specialist advice, information to staff and supports our service users – adults, children and young people.

This section is aimed at providing advice and information on a range of benefits issues/topics – however, the social security benefit and tax credits system is complex and can change, therefore please contact the Welfare Rights Advisor if you require further advice and information.
