The Local Government Act 2003 requires authorities to take an integrated approach in the compiling of their budgets.  As well as setting the level of Council Tax, Councils are also required to outline an indicative Medium Term Financial Plan.

The Council prepares an annual ‘Budget Book’ detailing the Councils’ Revenue Budget.
