**Update **

From 5th November 2012, responsibility for recycling collections in the Gurnos and Galon Uchaf estates will be passed over to the 3G's Development Trust. The reason for this change is to improve the amount of recycling that is collected. Refuse collections will not change and will continue to be collected by the Council. Residents in the affected area will receive a letter from the Council to notify them of then change. A copy of the letter can be found in the external links on the right hand side of the page.

Further information will be provided to affected residents by the 3G's Development Trust in due course.

The existing collections in all other areas of the County Borough will not change.

Green box recycling service

Blue box recycling service

The blue box is used to collect food waste and is a weekly recycling collection service. There are two boxes available as part of this scheme, a smaller caddy for use inside the home and a larger one for outside to transfer the food waste into prior to collection.
