Local Land Charge Search - Personal Search

If you are a member of the public and wish to carry out your own search of the Local Land Charges register you must have conveyance knowledge about property searches, e.g. a Personal Search Agency. If you don’t have this knowledge we advise you to seek legal advice from a conveyance solicitor to ensure all aspects of the work are done correctly.

If you wish to carry out a personal search, please contact LandCharges@merthyr.gov.uk submitting a plan(s) of the land/property to be searched along with a cover sheet stating your name, company’s name, date and an index list of all properties to be searched. 

If you require information from other departments, you must visit them directly and pay the required fees.
