Small to Medium Enterprises (SME)

Our aim is to encourage local businesses (including Voluntary Sector Organisations, Social Firms and Supported Factories), to tender for council contracts.

A SME is defined as is a Small to Medium Enterprise that employs less than 250 people. Currently this sector makes up 99% of the businesses in Wales.

Business support for Welsh based SMEs is available from the Welsh Government funded Supplier Development Service.
