Answer
1. The legacy fund allocation to Merthyr Tydfil was £377,000 2. The funding was intended to be able to carry forward best practice examples from community first or new approaches to service delivery the allocation was agreed by council as below : Continuation of 3 play and youth provisions Support to Parents for early language development Taking forward Community Zone approach (childrens first initiative) Continuation of Domestic Violence awareness programme 3. The legacy fund allocation received was £377,000 4. Continuation of 3 play and youth provisions Support to Parents for early language development Taking forward Community Zone approach (childrens first initiative) Continuation of Domestic Violence awareness programme These projects since the introduction of Legacy been funded as they were agreed as a priority by cabinet/council.
