Question
1) Do all the following have a system for asking people to leave when they are obviously ill and risking the health of others ( eg by coughing, sneezing ) Public libraries, offices, job-centres, schools, sports centres etc 2) How have these been updated now there is a potential epidemic happening ?
Answer
1) Some places will have infection control policies in place to address certain illnesses, but not all. There are also some requirements on individuals with certain infectious diseases to prevent onward spread, e.g. food handlers. However, it is unlikely that such policies would include people presenting with generic symptoms of coughing and sneezing other than advising on increased personal hygiene.
