Housing Benefit Extra Room

About your request

I am requesting that an extra room be allowed in my Housing Benefit calculation for one of the following reasons: *

For someone who stays on a regular or frequent basis to provide overnight care (this can be for a claimant or partner, a child or a non-dependant)

For someone who is unable to share a bedroom (this can be for a couple who cannot share or siblings who cannot share a bedroom)

For a foster child

For a child who is in the process of being adopted

For a non-dependant who normally lives at the property but is in the Armed Forces and currently on deployment
