Calling all 16- & 17-year olds – Register to vote DEADLINE 19th of April

This year will see an historic election, in which young people aged 16 & 17 will have the right to vote in the upcoming 2021 Senedd Election. However, the deadline for receiving applications is looming and those young people need to register before Monday the 19th of April.

So, don’t lose your voice – Great steps have been taken in Wales this year to give young people a voice and therefore those aged between 16 & 17 in the Caerphilly County Borough are urged to register to vote by Monday the 19th of April 2021, to ensure that they have their say and make history.

In today’s world, young voters are crucial and as a young person your vote matters. If you're eligible, please register to vote online at: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote its quick and easy and it will ensure that you’ll be able to take part in the upcoming Senedd Elections in May 2021.

What you'll Need?

All you will need is 5 minutes and your National Insurance Number. However, if you do not have your National Insurance Number you can still register to vote, just simply tick the box stating you do not know your national Insurance Number and Caerphilly Electoral Services will contact you at a later date for proof of identification.
